Measure & Grace — Frequently Asked Questions

1. What services do you provide?

Measure & Grace provides residential interior design, remodeling, and project management services. We support everything from focused consultations to full project guidance, working on single rooms, multiple spaces, or whole-home transformations tailored to your needs and goals.

2. What types of projects are a good fit?

Our work is best suited for homeowners seeking calm, design-forward solutions that are both thoughtful and functional. Projects can range from paint and layout guidance to complete home updates, all with an emphasis on balance, clarity, and enduring style

3. How does the process start?

Every project begins with three clear steps designed to ensure clarity, alignment, and confidence.

  • I. Intake form – You provide general information about your home and project. This allows our team to confirm that your project falls within our scope and expertise.

  • II. Discovery call with a designer – During this scheduled conversation, you’ll share the details of your project: what you want, when you want it, and why it matters. The designer will assess your goals and determine the best way to move forward.

  • III. In-home appointment – The in-home visit is the culmination of the initial process. We take precise measurements, review the space, and gather all necessary details. This step forms the foundation for creating your design plan, complete with a 3D rendering of your space, ensuring you can see and experience the proposed transformation before moving forward.

4. Do you work in person or virtually?
We provide both in-person and virtual services, depending on your location and project needs. The format is determined during the Intake and confirmed during the Discovery call.

5. How is pricing determined?
Pricing is based on the scope and complexity of your project. After reviewing the information provided in your intake form and details shared during the discovery call, we provide a clear service range. Once the in-home appointment is complete and the design plan—with 3D renderings—is created, we deliver a full, detailed quote before any work begins. This ensures transparency, accuracy, and confidence at every stage
.

6. Can I hire you for a single decision or small project?

7. Do you coordinate with contractors or other professionals?
Yes. We work alongside your contractors, installers, or other service providers to ensure design plans are clear and executed properly.

8. How involved do I need to be during the process?
You can be as involved as you like. Some clients prefer collaboration, while others rely on us to guide decisions. We adapt to your comfort level.

9. How long does a typical project take?
Timelines depend on project size, decision-making pace, and external factors like ordering or construction. We focus on steady progress and clear communication throughout.

10. What if I’m not sure Measure & Grace is the right fit?
Measure & Grace is the right fit for homeowners who value intentional, thoughtful design that balances function and beauty. If you want guidance that helps your home feel organized, cohesive, and truly reflective of your life, we are likely the partner you’ve been looking for.
